I have posted a lot about Earth Day in the past week. I love the optimism little kids have when talking and learning about the ways they can conserve and help the world, no matter how small. It makes my heart happy.
Have you seen Disney’s Monkey Planet yet? I wanted to share some new resources that I recently found that come from Disneynature. They are the folks who are in charge of all of Disney’s conservation efforts, and are the driving force behind the newly released Monkey Kingdom movie. They are dedicated to promoting conservation for animals, and always produce such amazing films. During this week, lucky guests to Disney’s Animal Kingdom will get to experience special programs teaching about global concerns.
Did you know that they have tons of STUNNING photo and video clips on their website? I remember showing this one when my class was studying penguins. ( I love penguins!)
Click here to go to the penguin video.
They also offer FREE downloadable movie guides for Teachers! I never knew! This is from the Monkey Kingdom guide.
They also have free guides for families. too. (Family movie night, anyone??? We do that every week!) Warning: I’ve been told there are a lot of monkey “private” parts shown in this movie!
